Winter Break 2015

We made the most of our time off from school and work and had some fun family outings to the bowling alley and Kohl's Children's Museum.  Both were a big hit and a great way to beat the frigid winter temps!  We also had some fun lazy mornings at home (Erik indulged the kids with their own personal stack of rainbow pancakes!).  Lastly, Erik and Grandpa Brown (and Matt and Ryan Neal) took Cassidy and Gavin skiing for the first time, and had a blast!  I stayed back with little Tyler and enjoyed a quiet day at home.  Grandpa Brown had a little set back halfway through the day when an odd twist tore his ACL, but the kids made a deal to get back out there with him next winter and he did a lot of teaching before having to call it a day on the slopes.  We're glad he's healing well and on the road to recovery!
