Key Lime Cove (also known as "best day ever")

We had an open weekend pop up in January and decided to take the kids (and ourselves) on an adventure to Key Lime Cove.  It's a giant indoor water park attached to a hotel 40 minutes north, just off the expressway (glamorous! ha ha).  We had some wintertime cabin fever and needed a change of pace that would match the high energy level of the kids.  Mission accomplished.  We spent 2 days going down giant waterslides, meandering through the lazy river and splashing around in wave pools.  There was also a huge arcade for times when you needed a pool break, and this was equally popular with the kids.  We stayed on site for dinner (enjoyed an extra margarita since our hotel room was just upstairs!  They thought this place through!) and the kids got such a kick out of having our family of 5 all stay in 1 giant room together.  They are already begging to go back and Gavin proclaimed it the best 2 days of his life.  (We're trying not to focus on the fact that Tyler came home with what seems like every virus under the sun...he's recovered just fine!).  I don't have many pictures since I didn't want to worry about my phone during our pool time...but I snapped a few!

Arcade fun

Tyler went a little crazy with the kiddie drinks!
The best shot I could get of the pool...the pineapple drink at the top tips over when it fills with water...endless fun.
